Visit and Treatment FAQs

Telemedicine is a way to care for patients remotely when the provider and patient cannot physically be together in the same location.

YES! Overall, research has proven Telemedicine to be equally effective as in-person visits, with little to no differences in outcomes. Telemedicine was under-utilized in the healthcare industry until COVID-19, when it became a necessity in caring for patients in primary practice. Since then, patients and providers alike enjoy the benefits and convenience of this healthcare delivery model.

The visit is completed in 3 easy steps: 1. Visit the website and click the “Request Appointment” button. Your appointment will be confirmed by one of our Providers. You will receive an e-mail with a link to download our app or join the visit using a web browser. 2. Log in before your visit and tell us about your symptoms. Select your Pharmacy of choice for prescriptions. Make your payment on a secure web portal. 3. Our provider will call you and you will have your visit. Don’t forget to tell us how we did by completing our survey and sharing with friends and family!

Yes, they can. However, it is at the Provider’s discretion to treat two illnesses in one visit. Depending on the illnesses, it may or may not be appropriate to treat both at the same time. Should two illnesses be treated, two copays may be collected, depending on the time spent to address those illnesses.

If a condition cannot be treated by our provider, we will guide you in the right direction and make recommendations on what the next steps should be. Copays for the consultation would still apply.

Prescription FAQs

Yes, we do provide refills, however it is at the provider’s discretion which medication is appropriate for a refill. There are medications that we do not prescribe. Please see the question below for which medications are not prescribed.

If your condition requires medication, we will send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice at the end of your visit. The pharmacy will then fill your prescription based on their protocol.

We do not prescribe any narcotic pain medications, anti-anxiety, anti-convulsant, weight loss drugs or erectile dysfunction medications. Additionally, we do not prescribe any medications defined as “Controlled Substances” by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. We do not refill medications for illnesses that we do not treat. For example, we do not treat anxiety, so we do not refill any of those medications.
